The magic of the written word. Stories take us to different places and allow us to enter imaginary worlds.
If you don’t turn your life into a story, you just become a part of someone else’s story.
Terry Pratchett
Culture
From generation to generation many cultures and tribes have famous tales. The Mauri in New Zealand, the Aboriginals in Australia, the Mapuche in Argentina. There are so many countries, so many cultures, each one of them with their roots and traditions hidden in fables.
We can learn so much about the world, each other and our different cultures through a short story.
Short Stories
The power of a short story, we can lose ourselves in the space of a few pages. Our imaginations conjure up powerful images. We live momentarily outside of our daily lives, we learn something, inspiration strikes, or an important message is conveyed. Maybe our perception transforms, maybe we feel enlightened, maybe we turn the page excited for the next short story to discover its secrets.

Sharing
Imagine listening to an audiobook or sitting round a campfire listening to the narrator. Perhaps we are with friends in the local pub. Someone is telling us a tale, it’s intriguing. It’s exciting. We are lost in the tale, it’s a story we want to pay every ounce of attention to.
Stories can be told through the written word, through the visual and the performing arts. Just about everywhere we go there is a story waiting to be discovered.
